New Service: First Aid Kit Audits
First aid can mean the difference between life and death. As a person conducting a business or undertaking (PCBU), you have specific obligations relating to the provision of first aid at your workplace.
Every employer should provide appropriate first aid equipment to allow first aid to be given in an emergency. Regulations apply to all workplaces including small businesses and the self-employed. Provision should also be made for night shifts, overtime, and employees travelling or working outside the usual workplace.
We now offer audits of your first aid equipment.
Workplaces should check the contents of their kit/s regularly, ensuring that any sterile items that have become out of date, as well as any used items, are replaced. It is a requirement to place signs at the premises, making clear who the first aiders are, how to contact them, and the location of kits.
We will check your current first aid equipment to ensure it meets SAFE WORK SA standards. We will check your signage, kit, and contents. We prepare a list of replacement items. Then we can replace these or your team can do it.
